What weapons did they use and what were there strategies?

Some weapons used in the war were long spears, pikes, and bow and arrows were common weapons. Another weapon was a ship. What was the most common and deadly weapon used in the wars and battles? Another common force for fighting was the fist. In many sea battles ships would get close together and have fist fights.
