What Caused the Hundred Years War?

What caused the Hundre Years War?

King Edward The III was one of the reasons why the wars and battles started he is the King of England. His uncle King Charles IV died while he was the king of France and leaving no kid to take over the throne. King Edward wanted to be the king but France forbidded him to be because the didnt want a foriegn person ruling them. Why would he want to leave England to rule France and he isn't from
France? I think that is weird!!!!!

Instead of him getting to rule King Charles IV cousin got to rule France. He started a new dynasty and ruled against the English rule. This made the English mad and that is what started a war. Why would they go to war against there own family? After the battles ended in 1914 the English invaded France. This started the battles again. The wars started in 1337 and ended in 1453. That is a long time.
